2021 NWEC Holiday Card Competition

 

The basics

Each year NWEC sends holiday cards to many people and businesses, including our fellow co-ops. This year we wanted to get our area youth involved by featuring their art on our holiday card! Winners will recieve a $25 cash prize, along with their artwork being featured on the 2021 holiday card and in the co-op newsletter.

 

Eligible entrants must

  • Be 13 years old or younger
  • Reside in NWEC's service terrritory - does not have to be a member of NWEC. Counties include: Woodward, Ellis, Harper, Beaver, Major, Woods and Dewey.

 

How to submit

All artwork must be original and not a copy of someone's copyrighted material. The artwork must be hand drawn by the entrant.

Contestants need to submit their artwork and their:

  • Name
  • Age
  • County
  • Parent/Guardian Phone Number

This year, NWEC wants to spread holiday cheer by showcasing artwork from the talented youth in our service territory! These holiday cards are sent out to many people and businesses, including our fellow co-ops around the state. We are very excited to open this opportunity for our area youth and hope it will continue for years to come!

Entries will be accepted from kids age 13 and under until September 1, 2021. A minimum of one winner will be chosen based on artistic ability and original approach where possible. Children 6 and under may use a coloring sheet provided on our website. Up to four winners can be chosen if numerous design elements may be used in one cohesive card. Winners will receive a $25 prize, along with their artwork being featured on the 2021 NWEC holiday card and in the co-op newsletter.

All artwork must be original and not a copy of someone else’s copyrighted material. The artwork must be hand drawn by the entrant.

Contestants need to submit their artwork along with their name, age, county and parent/guardian's phone number. More details can be found on our website under the youth programs tab.
